Good value for money

One of the more affordable options in Zurich, this place is a good value for the money. No major complaints, a few minor issues in the room. The room was generally quiet.

We stayed in F51. Very beautiful and spacious. Check in was smooth. Lots of media choices. Flat was well stocked. Espresso machine. Nice towels. Laundry service were perfect.

The location is great, just a few minutes to the supermarket, tram stop, train station, and bus terminal. However, the indoor appliances are a bit subpar; the bathroom light bulb was broken, and within a few hours of check-in, the kitchen oven caused a power trip. After contacting customer service, a repairman fixed it in about an hour.

Great location . Nice bathroom. The floor was not clean and sticky. Our accommodation on the ground floor did not allow us to open the shutters all the way up if we wanted privacy .

I booked one of Vision apartments other properties last year and it was an unmitigated disaster: a balcony advertised when there wasn't one (unless you wanted to clamber out of the roof), dreadful heat as no sign of any working air con, and a layout where knocking your head or stubbing your toe was par for the course. I had a fair degree of trepidation then when booking their Freyastrasse property, but I have to say it was very good. I do think the units can vary quite a lot even within the same building, this one was on the top floor and had a lovely terrace overlooking the rooftops, as well as a sizeable kitchen, living room and bedroom. The angle of the roof meant you had to watch your head on one side of the bedroom, but no prior contortionist experience needed. The only other gripe was that the sink was a little illogically built into a wall so if you lifted your head up after, say, rinsing, you'd smash your head on the concrete slab if not remembering to first retreat. The location is excellent with Wiedikon train station and a supermarket within 1m walk. It took me about 15m to get to the centre on foot so its fine for business, and the direct link to the airport is helpful too. Overall, recommended.

The room itself was lovely and very clean, and it’s a short walk to central Zurich. The kitchen was well equipped. Major complaint is that there is no AC and it was scorching hot. I actually appreciate that this is common in Europe, but they could at least have a plug in fan available for guests. Fans are a cheap, one off expense, and that would have made the world of difference. It was so hot that you would sweat in the room just lying there naked. It made it hard to sleep, and there are no screens on the windows so if you opened them, it would let bugs and mosquitos in. So, overall, it was a perfectly good place to stay, but if the weather is hot I would exercise caution - and would highly recommend the property purchase a fan.

The apartment overall was 3.0 stars out of 5.0. Two things made this 3 stars. 1. Price - too high for the location/size/quality of the apartment. 2. The bathroom/toilet area - it was very, very small. I am nearly 6 foot tall (1.8 meters) and almost had to walk sideways to get into the shower/sink/toilet area. The walls were very close. Someone with limited mobility or assisted walking should not rent this apartment.

It was sweltering hot and they run out of fans. So we couldn’t get one. The bed (mattress) and pillows were not comfortable each day we woke up with a sore neck and back. The shower had no warm water in the mornings. The location is great.

Only stay if you like a sauna to sleep in

This stay was so bad at 11pm on out 2nd night we had to go to find another hotel to stay in. Not only is there no air con but not even a fan. The windows don't get any airflow and the rooms get so hot it was impossible to sleep. When the windows are open you can here all the parties going on in the local area. If you like to sleep pay a little more for a proper hotel...it will be worth it!!
