"Hotel was generally clean and the room was definitely comfortable. But the property's drab and dark hallways need a refresh. In general, the beige & brown look is somewhat depressing.
I would say this hotel offers a clean, comfortable room experience, but the decor is dated."
"The beds are very comfortable and everything was clean. The property could be kept up a little better, new paint and flooring would make it look neater. The breakfast was excellent and staff was very helpful."
"The laminate floor that was throughout the room had missing pieces, the bathroom had rust and moldy/pealing spots. The bed was awful and the pillows were basically decorations. We had to ask for extra pillows they were so small and were were only allowed 2 extra.
There was a big room off the lobby where you could see it was just a junk room. It looked so unprofessional.
There was a big spot for breakfast/coffee, but a sign was posted that they no longer serve it due to a name change.

"First of all, this is the only place to stay in this town. Because of that , they can overcharge. The first room we had had blood/vomit/poo or mold on the fitted sheet. No idea what it was and didn’t want to find out. On the other bed the sheet along the platform had mold on it. We asked for a different room and that was fine. The pool and hot tub look in need of refinishing and one of the back doors did not lock from the outside. This was unnerving since we were on the first floor. The...

Our “lakefront view” offered only a small glimpse of water in the distance through the trees, and there’s no direct lake access unless you drive through the neighborhood. Be sure to check operating hours—the lodge was closed during our stay, so we didn’t get the full experience. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the mattress was...
"Unprepossessing. A basic motel. Clean enough, a bit musty smelling but not distractingly. Facade a bit time worn, as is the wall-to-wall carpeting. Very helpful receptionist."
"Parking was a breeze. We arrived at 9:10PM and were one of two cars in the lot. HOWEVER, THE HOTEL WAS PITCH DARK AND CLOSED!!! We found out that it had been closed for over six months, since the roof caved in, and is not expected to reopen for another three months.
WHY did Expedia let me make this reservation and take my credit card prepayment? WHY did I receive confirmation numbers from Expedia AND the hotel?
Expedia, you'd better straighten out this mess and get me a full refund. And figure...
