"This was a GREAT home to stay at. It was close to Syracuse University and in a safe area of town. It was well-maintained and very secure. The owner stocked the bathroom with any supplies we may have forgotten. tons of linens, towels, laundry. My husband had to work part of the time and was very comfortable working at the desk provided. We played games at the fun bar table in the kitchen. Just a perfect home to rent for comfort, cleanliness, and convenience. Many thanks!"

"A lovely spot by Colgate and next to a reservoir! Saw loons and other wildlife. Had some issues with the cleanliness of the place upon arrival and had to go get some supplies that were not available. With some care and attention, this will be a lovely weekend getaway."

"So initially finding The Haven in the daylight was a bit challenging, so I'm sure at night would be difficult. Other than that it was absolutely amazing. It was clean and the lions were extremely active. They called and moved our room before we arrived as the lions were hanging out by room number two. And, we sure did appreciate that. We will definitely be coming back.. "

"This was an amazing overnight stay! So much better than we were expecting to enjoy it. The lions, all 4, were in front of our window for almost the entire stay, both in the afternoon/night and again in the morning before leaving. To have them lounging, playing, sleeping, grooming right in front of the window with literally your hand separating them from you by plexiglass is unforgettable. My 3 young adult children also agree this was worth the money to experience for a night. We also were able...

"We used Lola’s getaway for a visit to see our son at SU. The house was well appointed and incredibly cozy. We visited in the winter with snow on the ground and the house was very warm and welcoming. Although there were only four of us that stayed at the house there was plenty of room to have 5 additional kiddos visit for a home cooked meal while in college. We hope to use the house again for another visit. "
