The bathrooms downstairs were a little tight for our handicapped parent and there were some water stains on the ceiling but the house itself was clean and had some extra things like soap and laundry detergent that we could use. The private beach was also amazing and is one of the only beach access areas I’ve seen in cape Charles that has an accessibility mat so the wheelchair could get all the way to the water. "If you love historic old houses with grand high ceilings, you will love this Onancock house. Great for large families. Nice big kitchen with kitchenware to make meals. The one bedroom apartment is an added bonus for your family members who want more privacy. We had a fabulous time and everything was seamless from booking, to stay, to checking out.
