"Second time we have stayed here. Ate in the evening and had breakfast. The staff were very good and friendly and the food was excellent. We actually stayed in the same room on both occasions, was like going down memory lane. Would definitely stay again, if in the area. "

"Was a bit unsure of what to expect as a 50yo but this place was fantastic & I didn’t feel out of place whatsoever. The staff are super friendly & helpful. Our room was really comfy (designed with neurodiversity in mind). I think my bed was actually a hospital type bed but it was sooo comfy & I could change mattress settings etc. The room was also voice activated too which was quirky. You can use the communal kitchen too to make yourself drinks and prepare food etc. They provide tea and coffee...

"I stayed at the new hostel on King Street that replaced the old building very suddenly. As a result they are still in the process of setting it up but even so it is still welcoming and pleasant. They must've worked really hard to get it ready so quickly. My room and bed were excellent and I imagine nowhere else offers such great value in a major city centre on a Friday night. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were modern and clean and the kitchen offerings were very generous. I enjoyed my coco...

"A pesar de ser una residencia de estudiantes, tuvimos la suerte de llegar en época de vacaciones por lo tanto había poco movimiento en el edificio. Como tal es una residencia de estudiantes, así que tenía todo lo “basico” que imaginábamos. Está en una zona de Discoteque así que si tienes el sueño liviano no es recomendable. Si no tienes problema el lugar está muy bien porque es muy céntrico y está a 10 minutos de la estación de tren o a 15 minutos de la estación de autobuses."

"Stay in a working monastery! The buildings and extensive grounds are superb. The grounds and gardens are well tended, and make for an extremely pleasant stroll. The place oozes character and makes a memorable visit. All this on the outskirts of Huddersfield. The rooms are basic but clean. Breakfast is only "continental", offering cereals, muesli, yoghurt, plenty of fresh bread for toast and lots of strong filter coffee. The staff are friendly and welcoming."
