"When we arrived they didn’t have our booking which was worrying but luckily they had a room for us. The room itself is incredibly basic and the bed is very hard. The communal area is quite nice overlooking the lake and there is tea and coffee available. Good location walking distance to plenty of restaurants and shops etc. The service wasn’t brilliant, the staff kept themselves to themselves and made you feel like you were in the way a little. I guess you get what you pay for with this place! "

"Definitely recommended this place for the price we got (about 550 thb for two people per night), if you are open to some southeast asian charme. The garden is absolutely stunning to chill and have some drink after a day of exploring. The view on the river is also great. But the room itself is a little old-fashioned. You'll have a good (air conditioned) night and be able to wash yourself, but don't expect everything to be squeaky clean and be ready for the miscellaneous ant or other bug here or...
