"Was a great stay at this great little inn. It may be a bit different than what most western guest expect to find, but I went for the Ryokan experience and was not disappointed. Staff were really great, helpful in scheduling transport to the monkey park and to the train station. Room was clean, good size, and had everything I needed. The town itself is a cute little village and it was a great experience going to all 9 baths in the town. The baths themselves could use a bit more attention... some...

"Incredibly clean and hygienic place, I’ve stayed there before and loved it! Super close to the ski resort, onsen visit is included, they have storage for your ski/ snowboard equipment as well as free laundry. The showers are amazing as well as the room heaters. I love staying here and I will be returning next year :) might just be an annual trip! They also have a great kitchen setup, along with Beer on draft! Thank you so much! Highly recommend!! 😊"

"Staff was friendly and working hard. Room was clean, comfortable and nicely updated… but they’re fighting an uphill battle against an aging run down building with apparently a long-broken elevator for 6 floors. Great price on difficult to find lodging in the area."

"Loved our stay here! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay fabulous. We skied right out the front door, convenient ski lockers in basement every night. Loved the beautiful onsen, with a view out to the mountain and snow, fully appointed with toiletries.
