"Overall this was a good place to stay during our trip to Tanzania. Location is very convenient to shops, ferry, taxis and also felt safe. Host was very responsive and helpful. He quickly resolved some issues we had. Even had fresh coconut water for all of us upon arriving. It could have been a little better clean and the bathroom showers convenient to use but overall we enjoyed our stay."

I repeatedly called the provided contact number, but no one answered. As a result, I was left without a room until around 3 AM, when the night guard finally managed to find an open room after exhausting all attempts to reach the reception. "Arrived and found hotel was closed down. Front doors chained and padlocked. I received no notice about closure. Had to find a different hotel on my own late at night. Cannot find a way on the Expedia website to submit a request for refund. Very frustrated with Expedia."
