"Awesome location! Cleanliness was seriously neglected. Hosts are elderly and this may be too much for them. No King size beds as advertised and no reception on TV's. The pool was full of leaves and railings were unstable as were railings on seps into cabin. The grounds need serious care and clean up, as did the porch and furniture. I reached out and received an immediate response that maintenance would be called. Owner did send someone out a couple days later, but it could not be fixed during our stay. "A real gem sits nestled back in the liveoaks off Hwy 183 north of Lometa with immaculate landscaping, picnic tables, a giant outdoor chess set, and the cutest 3 ft pig you've ever seen. The home is immaculate and so lovingly decorated - and it feels like a home, not a house. Lori has done a wonderful job equipping the house with all the essentials plus some wonderful extras. A basket with snacks, water, and some great Lometa tumblers welcomed us. And the bed is beyond belief comfortable - we have stayed in 5 star hotels that didn't have beds this comfortable. We both slept delicious (as they say in the Netherlands)! We will most definitely book with Lori again, she is the cream of the crop of hosts!"
