"The bed was super comfortable. All in all good. I would appreciate the stay more if the hotel had a proper reception staffed with people. I also had an issue checking in as the card activation didn’t work, so I had to call. I might be sensitive when it comes to customer service, however I believe a staffed reception is part of a hotel experience. "

"Positiv: sehr sauber, freundliche Mitarbeiter, zentrale ruhige Lage, Parkplätze am Haus, vielseitiges Frühstück (für eine Jugendherberge). Negativ: Die schlechte Belüftung im Haus! Im Schlafsaal mit 14 Betten gibt es keine Fenster, nur verschlossene Oberlichter und einen Decken-Ventilator: stickige heiße Luft im Raum. Auch in den Sanitärräumen und im Speisesaal gab es zu wenig natürliche Belüftung. Schade!"

"Gleich im Nebengebäude gibt es eine Bar. Trotz geschlossener Fenster war es so laut, dass wir bis zwei Uhr morgens nicht schlafen konnten (und das Ende März, wo es draussen noch kalt war. Wie laut muss das im Sommer sein, wenn alle draussen rumstehen!!!). Frühstück war ok. Zustand des Zimmers (102) ist sehr alt, Vorhang verrissen und hing runter, Rolladenband war gerissen, die Badezimmertüre war verbogen und liess sich nicht schliessen etc. Immerhin war es sauber. "The Manager Dora was amazing! She really made us feel welcome and provided guidance for transportation, walks, food. She made our trip there so pleasant. The hotel is convienent to walk to/around the Bodensee. "

"Ein tolles Hotel mit viel Geschichte, Style und Flair. Der Service war sehr gut, das Frühstück gut. Ob die WC-/Dusch-Module wirklich praktisch sind? Nicht sicher, eine gute Lösung sind sie wohl."
