"A bit old and dingy and cramped, but clean. There was no info sheet in the room so difficult to find the WiFi password. Not very private and quiet as it was more like an Inn with a number of other guests in adjacent rooms that one could hear.
The owner met me at the door which was a nice touch. Parking was great. Price for a quick one night stop and early morning start was about right."
"Wonderful staff and we appreciated the coffee kettle and water in our rooms. Our biggest issue was the size of the room and minimal space to put anything. Location however is excellent and the two staff members we encountered were super nice and very helpful."
"We were not given the room we booked. Booked a king room but given a double. Messaged but didn’t receive reply for 24 hours. Carpets are covering bad flooring. Feels like foot would go through beside the bed (side closest to window). Hole in wall. Ended up leaving a day early after fire alarm went off and a plumbing van showed up to check it out. Thankfully another guest called fire department. Sent email about concern and leaving early still haven’t received a response. Definitely not as...
"When we realized we would be later than 6pm to check in I was told that the reception would “be quite cross”. Then I got an email saying they want to put their small children to bed…we were only 15 mins late…shameful if you’re running an Inn… also the front patio is covered in dead plants in broken pots. 15 mins work would have it tidied up"

Breakfast was unavailable during our stay so unable to comment- we were informed though
Toilet cistern was slow fill and quite noisy

"The Wee Bank House is perfect in every way. So much attention to detail with everything we needed for our short stay in Oban. Lots of extra little touches including a wee dram on arrival, coffee pods and lovely local toiletries. Exceptionally clean and a friendly host. Highly recommend.

Close to the town centre , which meant i could enjoy a drink which is very rare for me .
My partner complained the bed was too hard , i found it to be fine ( she just likes to complain )
Plenty parking round the back .
