"Great location. We got there at dusk - tropical pathway lights didn't work - most were smashed. Hot tub was not "locked up" as supposed to be - and cloudy. Did not want to chance a UTI so - no tubbing which was the whole reason we picked this little gem. Sink clogged up, wallpaper paper falling off, possible black mold on skylight above bed. No batteries in remote. We left a day early. I hope they fix it up."

"This is a lovely cottage! Perfect for a couple or 2 friends. The views out of the windows are of ohia lehua, hapuʻu and blooming kahili ginger. It is a close drive to Volcano village restaurants and has a full kitchen if youʻd rather cook."

"Having never stayed in a Yurt of grid i was Amazed at how nice it was. I followed the rule of laundry during the day and had no issues. I titled this country because of the chickens and dogs, if you want a quite nights rest this isn't for you. If you are used to dogs barking and roasters crowingfrom 3am on then you'll be fine. "This location is not in the heart of anything and everything is about an hour away. It was quiet and easy to access. We loved our stay, and we are adventurers, so it gave us great access to the whole island. Plus, the sunsets were beautiful and unobstructed. "
