"This is a quaint and charming set of rooms about the Grapes pub. It is not for the faint of heart or the weak of knees. One must climb two steep sets of stairs so make sure your luggage is is light. The check in is at the bar by the owner who is a really nice guy. He gives instruction on how to enter and return with the key and his assistant showed us the room. "I found my room very clean, nicely appointed and comfortable. It has been a very long time since I have had to go out of my room for the loo or a shower but it’s not hard to get used to it again. My only issue is that having seen a laundry basket opposite my door I thought that I was supposed to strip the bed which I did and found stained pillows and badly torn duvet. Didn’t "

"The Woolpack Inn excelled in a lot of areas,especially with respect to parking nearby, with good food throughout and a comfortable and quiet room/suite with good furnishings, TV, kettle, bathroom-shower facilities.
