"Check in was 15:00. I arrived at 16:20 and the room was still not ready. I complained to the woman at the bar which serves as the reception, she apologised, asked me if I wanted a drink while I waited and then tried to charge me for it! Not a good start to my stay. However, the room itself was lovely, clean, comfortable, modern and stylish. Extremely good value for the price and literally opposite the train station. Entry to the hotel is via an app you have to download, but it worked well...

"So i suppose the price for a night isnt bad, but when youre expecting a whole apartment aslisted and there are others there, its not so great. Stood outside door for 20mins. Not easy to get key via access code( no email before) 2 towels for 3 people, 1 was damp, 1 had a brown 'stain' on it. Bedding old and worn. Headboards dubiously stained!!!!"

"Clean and tidy, good food , friendly staff. Only negative was the shower rail was loose and the fan very noisy, just a bit of TLC needed in the shower room . But over all i would recommend the hotel.. Especially the staff."

"The property needs a serious overhaul looking very dated in decoration. Old wall paper on the walls with marking on the paper , carpets need a refresh , small tv which needs to be replaced with a new tv on the wall. Bathroom shower worked but needs a new shower as i couldnt properly turn the shower off after use. Minamul tea facilities in room. Veru poor standard of accommodation but it was quite cheap hotel . Think i will book a different hotel next time"

"Everything sorted when we arrived. When we had a problem with cooker timer host arranged for an electrician to check asap…on a bank holiday weekend. Hosts very welcoming. Although ‘no housekeeping’ is stated this is the second time we have stayed for more than a week and sheets. And towels have been changed."
