"Was pleasantly surprised when we came to the property. Very clean and modern. Staff is really nice and friendly. There is parking 1 min away for which they give u a parking ticket for display. 2 beach clubs apollon and zero zero is just outside. Main promenade is about 15 min walk. Good restaurants and supermarket is near. Breakfast was good. Small hotel but fit for purpose if you going to spend all your time on the beach."

"The property and service offered by the owner was excellent and personalised. By far, the cleanest apartment we have ever stayed at. It was also self-contained, which meant we had the utensils to cook, clean and do our laundry. And all of this was just a relatively short walk away from the foreshore. Butrint, a Unesco World Heritage site. Inhabited since prehistoric times, Butrint has been the site of a Greek colony (800 BC), a Roman city (44 BC) and a bishopric (5th centrury). Following a period of prosperity under Byzantine administration, then a brief occupation by the Venetians, the city was abandoned in the late Middle Ages after marshes formed in the area. The archaeological site is a repository of ruins representing each period in the city’s development and that entity is unique. Moreover the ruines are situated in a beautiful natural setting. The photo shows the famous baptistery, a major ruin from the 6th century and an ancient Roman monument adapted to the cultural needs of Christianity. Its floor has a an exceptional and well-preserved mosaic pavement, but usually it’s covered with sand (for protection). #Culture #LocalSecrets #History
