"These apartments are located in a very small agricultural town so not loads of shopping. There are several small restaurants within walking distance of the apartments. We also happened to be in town for a local religious festival/ceremony, so very pleased about that. "Excellent stay! We used this place as a good stopping point for our first night when leaving Barcelona. So easy right off the highway, great parking, could walk to Almansa, grocery store nearby, wifi worked well, great & hot shower, clean room, nice staff. All the things a traveler hopes for and more. "We had a memorable stay at this historical castle that has been sympathetically renovated. The owners were very nice and welcoming. The room, like the rest of the hotel, was very stylishly rustic. There is a nice good sized swimming pool with plenty of good quality sun loungers. The surrounding land is pretty and peaceful. There aren't many staff but the hotel operates an honesty type service for drinks (you take drinks from the bar and put your room number to be charged on checkout. The prices are reasonable). The breakfast is included and the selection is tasty with some daily variation. Dinner in the restaurant is recommended. The menu is changable every day and is a nice surprise from the owner who is an excellent chef. The presentation and taste are outstanding All in all, we enjoyed our stay and are hoping to come back again in the future."
