"a terrible, small, smelly caravan awaited us with a toilet and shower around the corner in a dark small outside room. No cookware and cutlery were outdated and old. We did not stay there and booked another accommodation, therefore needed to pay twice for accommodation for our holiday. When confronted the owner about the crappy caravan she just replied " In 6 months time, you will laugh about your experience at The Stables""

"This is definitely a good place to stay, our room was on the beach side of the property and has really a quirky type of architecture, which gives it charm. Listening to the waves crash against the shore was soothing. "We were upgraded to the family room, which was great, the only concern was going up and down the steep staircase having to access the kitchen and bathroom, and there is no TV in the bedroom. Something I did not see mentioned in the reviews I looked at was that the nearest shops are 20km away, in Ysterfontein."
