"It is a pleasure to write a review of Casa das Capelas. It is a large and beautiful, fully renovated, historical building, set in lovely grounds. My excellent room looked out over rolling countryside. So peaceful. And the owners were extremely hospitable. There is a great patio to have a glass of wine, meet a few locals and eat a light dinner. Highly recommended. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in the area."

"This hotel is so unique. It’s a place to stay if you are interested in Spanish history and would like to stay somewhere that honors the past. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about the pazo’s history both of the family that owned it and general history of the area. "Stunning property. Very old Casa with recent modern renovations. Unbelievable host who made us an amazing dinner and breakfast. We are hiking the Camino de Santiago and it was our first very, very hot day. The cerveza's were super cold. The galician octopus served at dinner was so yummy. My husband told the host that he "couldn't have dreamed of a better meal." So thankful that we booked here!"
