"We arrived about 7pm to be told we had no room even though I had a confirmation of the booking. Was repeatedly hung up on and my calls also ignored. They also ignored hotels.com when they called to also help. Veliko was very busy and we would've been without a room for the night had a local old lady not overheard our problems and offered to help us find a bed for the night - thankfully she spoke English! Do not recommend as this is totally unacceptable service and very worrying for people...

"The receptionist was excellent. As a foreigner, her welcome and kindness was above and beyond, thank you kindly. The rest of the staff were also amazing. I will never forget the woman at breakfast bringing me Mikitsi with icing sugar, and telling me eat…eat, so personal and sweet. The spa is included, except for the turkish bath, and it was clean and refreshing after a long day of travelling. The hottub could of been a little hotter and with more jets, but nevertheless good enough. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and when I return i will stay here again without a heartbeat!! "
