"This was the first time returning to my home town and stayed in a hotel as well as my first visit to the Hotel Wayne. The hotel is a historic building and as such does not have an elevator; however, it does have a beautiful wide staircase. I found all of the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. "The ambiance of the property and hotel is lovely. We were a bit put off at arriving an 1 1/2 early and being told without even asking what our names were or what room that it was not ready. We would have preferred them saying they don’t allow early access or charges us a pro rated amount for the room. The restaurant is very good and our waiter was wonderful. Outside of the initial interaction with the front desk, the time was wonderful "
