"Hotel was up to standard of the company; however, the central area was not conducive to safe walking after dark. I was accosted by an unsuccessful 'Artful Dodger' during my 90 second walk from the only viable restaurant to the hotel. During the day such considerations were not apparent. The other Protea hotel on the lagoon would be preferable. "

"Close to the center, bar, restaurant, shops and the sea by walk, overall nice hotel with good location. However the hot water is missing when the hotel have big groups and it only comes back around 7 am... a bit annoying when you shuttle for the activity is supposed to arrive at 7h30 and you also have to eat your breakfast. "Surprisingly nice stay in Rossmund Lodge near Swakopmund, easily reached from the new Highway between Walvis Bay and Swakopmund. Our cabin was spacious, clean, had a big bath with bathtub and shower, a little dressing area with a refrigerator, cups and glasses for tea or coffee, and a hot water cooker.
