"The hotel itself is ckean and the staff are friendly and informative. We had booked a double and got two single beds (although this seems to be the norm in Laos from my experience). The toilet seemed to be blocked along the line a bit (I suspect soneone throw toilet paper down) so a few times we had to find a plunger. Aircon struggled in the heat, but the room had strong ceiling fans. I also like the seperate shower and toilet. I'm not sure the pools PH leveks are checked, as after a short swim...

"This is an older, unkempt property. The room numbers were written on yellow Post-It Notes above each door. I was in two different rooms due to a mix-up. Neither one had soap. The woman running the place asked me how much I'd paid for my room when I came out for breakfast on my first morning, even though it had come with my room. It took nearly ten minutes to explain to her that breakfast was included regardless of how much I'd paid. "
