"The property description on Expedia is incorrect. This tea house does not offer rooms with private bathrooms. Their nicest rooms offer an attached squat toilet with a bucket of water. There is no sink and no shower in the “private bathroom.” The advertised “hot shower” is a communal hot shower next to the dining room. The western toilet and sinks are also communal. "Stand out accommodation in Gokyo. The bright cheery entryway and dining room were a real treat after a long day of trekking. We got an attached bathroom and the room was spacious, tidy, and comfy/cozy. Food options plentiful and diverse and an espresso machine was a surprise bonus! The owner operator was friendly and kind. Loved our entire stay!"

"I stayed here for 4 weeks between 2 trips to Everest Base Camp. It was a perfect base for exploring the surrounding Khumbu region and Namche village. My hosts were friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was well fed, cared for and recovering from my adventures. The rooms were clean, the food great and atmosphere welcoming. I hope to return one day and stay there again."

"Жил в нем после треккинга в Намче. Отель на центральной улице. Хозяин очень милый и добрый. Из достоинств - бесплатная розетка, горячий душ, интернет, мыло, полотенце. Из недостатков очень дорогие горячие напитки и еда, дороже чем на треке. Мне дали номер на последнем этаже с понорамным видом на весь город и аэропорт!"

"The sister and brother who run this lodge are amazingly gracious and extremely helpful. My room was clean and comfortable, had a great view as well. The food was all made from scratch and was delicious. I rarely write reviews, but having had a past lifetime in the industry I know when the effort is there and these two newcomers to the hospitality industry are right on track. "

They’re nice people and the tea house is similar to others on the Gokyo Trek, but they should not be advertising it as a 3* hotel with private bathroom on Expedia."
