There is a microwave oven, kettle and a toaster but only 1 outlet so you will need to move appliances around to do anything as simple as making breakfast. The location is remote which means you will need a car to get around. There is nothing interesting going on in the immediate area. "

It feels like the hotel has lost its manager as the venue seems to lack direction, was quite grubby in places (mildew around the pool, randomly stacked cheap plastic chairs that didn’t need to be there, structures in the parking area falling down). The chef must have left too, our evening meal was extremely poor. Fazenda Nova could be absolutely lovely but seems to be in a period of decline at...

"We got the cheap studio with the sofa beds that dont have such great reviews. However, we turned them around and put them together to make a big bed. They were quite comfortable and the sheets and pillows were good quality. Very satisfied. The only issue was that there was no dish soap in the kitchen. The balcony had great views of the village and the beach. We were facing west, and had a lovely sunset. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the restaurant called Bellmonte next...
