"Beautiful clean hotel with helpful staff and stunning views. Nothing much there but if you want quiet relaxation or a clean functional hotel whilst on a road trip through Portugal then this is the place. Restaurant fine for evening meal and good breakfast"

"Great stay! Looking forward to next time"

"Beautiful place for romantic experience "

"Excellent food, spacious room, and good service. I would stay again."

"Lovely hotel"

"Welcoming reception. Great location close to the Mosteiro. Comfortable room in a traditional dwelling converted to accommodate guests. Bar/cafe adjacent, some food options are welcome as there are no supermarkets close by to get supplies. Mosteiro is interesting and partially preserved "

"If you like “off the beaten track” and characterful you’ll like Quinta da Mata, Luis and his team made us feel like family."

"Owner failed to block space on Hotel.com platform. He reluctantly accommodated me but guests arriving just afterwards were left furious. Rural location with no dining choices within walking distance. Room ok but at rate I paid way overpriced."
