"The stay was horrible. It was snowing and such a big hotel but no one at the reception.The wifi password given was incorrecr. Water was coming feom the window and thw roof. Frewzing cold and no firewood or firelighter provided. No one to contact as the phone provided was going to security. "

"The place has beautiful surroudings, but the place needs an upgrade to match the beautiful mountains. Especially the food served for dinner was below expectations The cleanliness of the bathrooms was not acceptable. On the positive side, the sauna was very impressive. With a better kitchen, the place can be recommended. "

"Good location in the centre of Geilo. We had a two bed apartment with a lounge area, kitchen and bathroom. Very comfy bed. Downsides, you can't specify where in the block you want to be. Although we booked over 6 months ago, hoping for a view, we found ourselves on the ground floor looking over some sheds/shacks with very little view of the spectacular scenery. Also, obtaining the key relies on a mobile phone with access to the Internet as there is no person at a reception on site to help. "

"Terrible and dirty. The matresses were stained with urine and feces. The shower had freezing cold water only and warm water has to be bought separately with Norwegian coins. We stayed in various camping sites and apartments during on journey and this was easily the worst but not even close to being the cheapest. We paid 70€ for one night in a simple cabin with 2 beds. Can not recommend to anyone."

"This is a great place to stay for walks in the surrounding hills, with some great views. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent and I think I ate too much as it was so food. The lounge area is quiet and very homely, nice to sit with a cup of coffee & read. The lady manager was very kind and helpful & allowed me to practice my bad Norwegian on her 😉"
