"I love the Valley of Rocks! It's quirky, friendly, unique. PLEASE don't come here expecting posh hotel luxury. You'll be disappointed. No bar, no breakfast. On the evening I arrived there was no hot water (it was kind of fixed - warm water, anyway - the following day); the lift wasn't working; a broken sash cord in my bedroom window meant it didn't open. It's clearly, as a hotel, hanging on by its fingernails. So why do I like it?? Because it's one-of-a-kind - vast, faded Victorian grandeur,...

"Booked a twin room for 2 adult's and 2 kids. On arrival i expected more beds on the room( how other hotel do it). But only 2 large singles to sleep all 4. So i had to ask for more beds. Which they did find. But surely if a room is booked for 4 ....2 small beds wldnt b big enough."

"Kevin and the team are great, happy to help however they can. The food is very good as are the drinks. The en suite bathroom had a great shower, fluffy clean towels and was nicely laid out. The bed was clean and comfortable. We stayed for two nights and both agreed the only thing to change were some of the carpets. We didn't sleep, eat or shower on the carpets though, so it wasn't a game changer. We would definitely stay again, thank you Kevin and the whole team."

"I didnt know how truly cool a hotel i had booked until i got there. The parking was stupidly easy, the staff greeted me with a smile, the food at dinner was amazing. Along with breakfast the next day. The whole place is perfect for cute photos and the garden was ideal. i love how close it was to the city, but not part of it. I will be coming back to stay there. It was so well planned out with the staff so helpful and on time for everything. Love, love loved it"
