"Decent rooms and decent breakfast"

"We booked the Vulkan Wellness Panzio Hotel and arrived at 3.55pm. We were told there was a receptionist until 8 pm but no one was there. There was a notice on the door to ring. We phoned the number and were told no room was alocated to us but we had been given a room in the sister hotel. It took us some time and a number of phone calls and an email to the same person to gain the address of this second hotel due to language barriers. "If I traveled to Keszthely again, I would pick the same place. The owners were very hospitable and very helpful in arranging extra activities, like our bike rental. Practical bonuses: a fridge in the room, a coffee maker in the main hall, complimentary tea and coffee; all making it possible to grab a snack before going out in the morning. The neighbourhood is lovely and quiet, whereas the lake, the beach and the center of Keszthely are within a walking distance. Overall, I would recommend it...
