"The room was dirty, with weird stains and suspicious hairs everywhere. They give hardly any shower gel/shampoo- we had to use hand soap gel for the rest of our showers! The toilet and paper are literally IN the shower, so everything gets soaked. Nowhere to hang your towels. The doors don't lock. Everything was sticky and just gross, and the heat was on WAY too high in February - we had to open our window to stop sweating!! "If I traveled to Keszthely again, I would pick the same place. The owners were very hospitable and very helpful in arranging extra activities, like our bike rental. Practical bonuses: a fridge in the room, a coffee maker in the main hall, complimentary tea and coffee; all making it possible to grab a snack before going out in the morning. The neighbourhood is lovely and quiet, whereas the lake, the beach and the center of Keszthely are within a walking distance. Overall, I would recommend it...

"An outside construction was in progress during my stay. Quite unpleasant, just outside of my window. At the arrival, I received a bottle of Italian Frizzante, as an apology. Nice gesture. Bed was confortable, room was clean. However, drain in the shower did not work well. Breakfast was OK, but with pastry few days old. Check out was not very pleasant, basically ruined my stay. I was left with mixed feelings."
