"We were a bit sceptical about the resort at first due to previous reviews. However it was a great 10 day stay for us. The food was lovely, couldn’t get enough of the prawns. The room with the sea view was amazing.
The staff were great, thank you Maria you made our stay very comfortable.
If you need some where close to the airport and 5min away from Stone town then I recommend Zanzibar beach resort. "

"It is one of the best hotel I've ever stayed. Excellent room, staff, services. The hotel and the rooms are in traditional Zanzibar architecture style, which gave me great experience. Staff is considerate and detail oriented. The dinner at the rooftop is wonderful.
One minor downside is the shower had low water pressure due to my room was in the top floor. Sometimes I had to wait for 1-2 minutes until the water came, which was not good when taking shower. The staff said there will be a major...

"This was a neat place to stay in the heart of the old part of Stone Town. Quaint, but with modern amenities like AC. I had a private bathroom down the hall which was clean and not far. Older building with stairs but I enjoyed my stay and felt it was worth it for sure."
