"I stayed in a unit, the bed was very comfortable, own tv and my car was parked outside the door. Staff very friendly and helpful. I didn't realise there was a swimming pool, will bring my swimsuit next time. "

"We were a group of 17 seniors who booked out the whole motel. As it's an older building there was plenty of space for sharing and lovely lawns. We were back off the busy main road so we're not disturbed by traffic noise. We could walk to the Skyline gondola and were right next door to the rabbit mini golf. We played at night. So beautiful with the real rabbits and all the lights. The owners were very helpful and quick to fix any issues we had."

"Fabulous property in beautiful country setting with easy access to Rotorua and its attractions. Louise is a very welcoming host providing tea and biscuits on arrival and delicious home cooked breakfasts every morning. She also has a wealth of information regarding what to see in the area and on local traditions and NZ history. The facilities are top notch and I will recommend Doolan’s to my friends if they visit the area"

"This property is by far the best we have stayed in traveling the north side for 3 week with a family of 4. Its location is perfect nice and quiet. It’s not in the smelly part of Rotorua . We have slept in many beds and we have found the beds at under the walnut feel like home. The outside is deceiving doesn’t look like much. But the inside has everything you need as if you were at home. I’d definitely stay there again. "
