"It could have been a good stay but unfortunately due to a bad management and poor cooperation level, my review is one of the worst I ever shared. If you leave your car just outside of the building be prepared as it might get damaged overnight and suddenly nobody will help you with that nor assist you. Apparently cameras are out of service (and from the picture you could clearly see a camera pointing right on the direction of my car, so maybe it’s a fake one?..that’s a different topic...

"This might have been a glorious hotel years ago. But our impression in 2024 is that maintenance has been lacking for quite some time. Moisture in the ceilings, spiderwebs in the dining area. The majority of the sun chairs by the pool was broken. Breakfast was a failure. Individually plastic wrapped bread (croissants and the like). But “fresh” bread was served in person, but it was quite dry (1cm of the edge of each slice was dry). Asked for butter quite a few times (in English), and the...

"What a great property - located in an area with rolling hills and beautiful wineries. Great scenery and views. Beautiful grounds, excellently appointed rooms. High end decorations and fixtures in the rooms. Very comfortable beds and Nice linens. Enjoyed both The pool and restaurants."

"Most amazing meals! Great value! The hair dryer and electric outlets were not great but we managed. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. Very clean considering it's age. The wine list is out of this world. Top notch Chef Carlo wears tons of hats with total elegance. He is a fantastic sommelier, host, chef, bell hop, concierge etc etc. Such fabulous personal service. It was a real treat!"

"I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The hotel was completely deserted since the owner and everyone else at the hotel had left 3 weeks prior to our arrival. That didn’t stop them from processing my payment. This is by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Zero stars to this hotel and the service I have received from Hotels.com. I would never recommend this to anyone."
