"Front desk is very professional, and the rooms are nice and spacious with clean sheets. However you can tell the hotel is extremely in need of maintenance, and housekeeping is stretched so thin that they are barely hanging in there - doing the minimum to keep the place running. Ultimately this hotel has had much better days, was probably a top luxury hotel once upon a time, but unfortunately, is being run into the ground."
"Our room was smelling of paint when we checked in.
The airconditioner in our room doesn't work which made it difficult to sleep at night. We were told they were working on it but doing an online seach revealed this is an ongoing issue based on many guest comments to the extent the stopped advertising they have airconditioning, altough some rooms still have airconditioming sign on expedia info pages.
The food is abundant but material used appears to be lowest possible quality. The restaurant is...
"I guess this place uses central heating/cooling - as in every room is set to the same temperature. Thats new to me and I didn’t observe that at any other hotel in Bulgaria. Unfortunately that meant extremely hot suffocating room in dead of summer heat. Took a while the staff to admit that the AC doesn’t work, which was frustrating. However the rooms looked freshly remodeled and they were very clean. Will try them again sometime, hopefully they fix their AC issues!"
"Other hotel guests were out of control, lying around reception on sofas for hours, shouting at each other. The experience at breakfast was a free for all, the waste of food by guests was not controlled, the management had lost control. I requested an additional bed at booking but got charged another 90 euro for a sofa bed. I have stayed at many hotels for business and pleasure and would say that this was one of my worst experiences in a long time, I would not recommend this hotel to any family...
"Nice property. Dark inside not enough lightning. Magnetic cards work time to time. Staff is friendly. Restaurants on the pricey side. The pool weird configuration and not safe for kids."
"We arrived not knowing what to expect and after our room was allocated, all fears were alleviated. The hotel is fantastic, the staff are wonderful and the breakfast is superb. Couple of small caveats, the pool is smaller than it looks in photos but still very pleasant and if all else fails there is the Black Sea on the doorstep.
If I could rate it six stars I would."
"This is a really nice hotel right in the centre of town close to the beach, eating establishments and lovely walks (beach and park). It is next to a Casino if that is your thing but this is a nice hotel, super convenient, no noise in the rooms and just a very pleasant European beach style. It has given me a real warmth for Bulgaria."
