"1st what we didnt like I hated leaving . I loved this place so much , I kicked myself in the behind for having booked a second hotel in an area that I thought was better. It was not. And the second accommodation refused to give me a refund so i had to move out of Rooftop , Very sad What i liked Everything else. Its located in a quite residential area, but very close to beach, monkey park, restaurants , Senegambia strip ( which frankly is a bit too loud ) while The Rooftop is just right in...

"I’ve traveled to The Gambia four times and this is the best place accommodation so far. Free cleaning services, supermarket on the first level, free parking, restaurants and shops walking distance away, 24/7 security.. to say the least. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. "

Have stayed 2 years in a row and will return. The rooms are large and accommodating with private balcony overlooking the gorgeous pool and striking green scenery. Not so happy with frustratingly slow wifi, unpowered room lighting and despite request no bedside lamps, unable to watch premium channels on TV as smart box cannot physically be powered up, No one to cook breakfast probably due to ramadan starting on my arrival, potential safety hazard with permanently ipen damaged cupboard door in bathroom."

"Trips, their cars 4-wheel were very old and packed with people. For example on safari they packed 18 people in car. From other places, as I seen it in the parking lot, they all have smaller cars, 4 or 6 people."

"First visit to Gambia and although we realised the star rating system was not on par with the UK it fell well below on many aspects. In its defence the manager has only recently taken this hotel over and things were improving even during our one week stay. The staff are lovely and the location is as good as the photos suggest. The description of a 'wellness' centre is not terribly accurate. It needs to sort out the water system as most days we had to report that we had no water and they then did...
