Nisbet Plantation Beach ClubNewcastle
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (96 reviews)
"Nisbet is on a former sugar plantation and buttresses the Atlantic. The grounds and rooms are well-maintained. It’s very laid back, an older crowd, except for the lively Thursday night barbecue on the beach. Outsiders come to Nisbet and live music is offered. Dinner food is fair, although quite good at the barbecue. Breakfast and lunch are pretty good, but with limited menus. Overall, a very relaxing vacation, but it is best to go off grounds for other experiences and restaurants."

There was a light burned out in the...

There is no access to the beach, but they have a shuttle that takes you to frigate beach. Stop at Rams grocery store and get yourself snacks. Make sure you take a trip to reggae beach. Ocean view room was worth the extra $20 or so dollars a night. They have monkeys at the hotel- so that’s super cool. Hotel was almost empty when we went in October- so we had...
