We were also put off that we were warned by guides multiple times prior to even arriving that we may be offered a ‘free’ tour and asks us to cancel already booked ones which could be a scam. "If I could, I would give more than 5 stars for this breathtaking riad in the old city Fes. If you are a frequent traveler, you probably have have experienced the catfish aspect of a property posting it's unrealistically beautiful pictures on these platforms. Riad Mazar Fes is the exception. Pictures don't do justice to how beautiful this exceptionally build and meticulously maintained riad. And that is not the best thing about it.
