I figured the location being close to the beach would be great but phase ii island is under lots of construction and doesn't have the services that phase I has so this is a great location if you want steps. The noise from construction and the road noise was constant. The room cooled well, but the bathroom stayed a little warm. "The hotel was perfect for landing in the Maldives and acclimating before heading to one of the islands. It was exceptionally clean, the room was well appointed and the air-con was very cold (which was much needed in the heat!). The staff were friendly and very helpful, the restaurant allowed for alterations to menu items which is helpful with my food intolerances. I highly recommend this hotel to people passing through. Definitely go for a walk in the local area to find some gems!"
