"Room climate control kept returning to 19 deg C despite attempts to up temperature to 22 deg C. I woke up with a migraine and could not partake of either the spa or buffet breakfast which was included in my stay so cannot comment on these aspects of the hotel facilities."

"Had a very good overnight stay at the hotel. Staff were really helpful. Didn't have any meals, so can't comment on that. The room was very clean but a bit dated (believe they are renovating the rooms bit by bit.) Hotel parking made life nice and easy. Always happy in an IHG hotel."

"The breakfast was great on the whole, although I would’ve liked a wider array of cheeses on offer and cold cuts of meat. It was really pet friendly and I brought my cavapoo so thank you. The staff were so kind and helpful, especially the sales manager and the front reception staff. They were very keen to help. I was really impressed with the location and the grounds which was ideal for doggies and the vintage heritage railway station and classic trains just round the corner at was a wonderful surprising bonus. "
