"Parking was easy, breathtaking views! Room was slightly dated and had some dirt in the room such as dirty fingner print marks on the walls & mold on the shower sealant... Staff were polite but also didnt seem to know what they were doing and could not find my booking for 10 minutes asking me multiple times to confirm i had booked there. Also had confusion over my booking type as expedia allowed me to select the 'pay at property' option (which was more expensive) then the hotel took the money out...

"After a nice welcome, we were able to really enjoy our stay last weekend. It’s set back from the busy roads and pubs so we could enjoy complete peace. Good breakfast and very accommodating. The room was clean and there’s great access to the town and many beautiful walks. We will definitely be staying again!"

"Pet-friendly BUT you need to know that the guesthouse is just a small part of a large caravan and camping site. There’s also a field of horses. Guesthouse clients with dogs are only allowed in rooms accessible from the outside; we weren’t allowed inside the building. So my room opened directly onto the access road, with all the mud and noise that comes from all the traffic, walkers, and horses that passed in front of the door and small window. "My partner and I had a fantastic stay, I really can’t think of any negatives! David and Chris were lovely hosts and the accommodation was so peaceful. There are so many nice walks around the place that we could have stayed a lot longer. Breakfast was really nice with lots of choice and they accommodated our vegetarian preferences.
