"First time in Agadir and first time in Morocco. Had an absolutely wonderful time at the Sofitel. All the staff were very polite and helpful. The pool area is beautiful, and the hotel has its own beach area looking out onto the promenade with a sea view. The nearest shops and other restaurants are a bit or a walk but you don’t really need to leave the hotel. Souk El Had was a 50MAD taxi ride away. There was lots of options at the breakfast buffet- I’m missing the fresh bread! Would definitely stay again for a relaxing holiday."

While the facilities and rooms were decent, the poor customer service, unjustified overcharges, and subpar dining experience made the stay disappointing. "Beachfront resort (private section for hotel), large but low-rise accommodation surrounding large pool, with other smaller pools, including a mini waterpark, three a la carte restaurants (booking expected), huge buffet hall with many rooms, four bars including pool bar,... Most guests are on all-inclusive and there is a great choice of many cuisines and menus. Rooms are spotless, well equipped and modern. Comfy beds, smart bathroom, sky tv ,safe, minibar fridge. Great relaxing holiday."
