"Horrible service. Did not stay due to a missed flight and poor communication with the property. Contacted the property multiple times over months with the same request and they rarely if ever responded. When I contacted them about missing my flight they had the audacity to inform me that I "only booked for 1 person" which contradicted my many emails and the hotels.com booking for 1 room with 2 adults. Decided to cut ties and stay at a much nicer hotel in Arusha instead of further dealing with...

Our experience with visiting a Maasai village was a bitter sweet affair, although we did get interesting insights into their culture, tradition and beliefs. Maasai are famous for their jumping, which is a way for the guys to impress the ladies - Dave got some decent height so he had some good prospects in this village. It only costs 10 cows per wife (you can have as many as you like) - quite a bargain! One downer was that they just saw us as walking ATMs... We paid $50 USD to enter the village but when they realised that we didn't have any more cash with us to buy souvenirs from their 'shop' we quickly got escorted through the back door... #indigenouspeoplesday #Maasai #Tanzania #Africa #thewayfindings #travel #explore
