The staff were so friendly, responsive and kind. We cannot say enough about them. One of our crew dropped their passport in a small town on one of the days we were out and about - creating a very stressful experience. The people all around us during this event were so concerned and helped us to call local police departments to locate it. We were so grateful. While extremely elegant, the vibe is welcoming. Excellent hotel and great service

Nice property. Great rooms. Beautiful view, if you get a beach/water view room. We had reserved a non-water view. Asked for upgrade at check in. Got the upgrade but had to pay more money, thought that was a perk with Expedia VIP, but wasn't. Nice bar area with good views and decent food. The upscale restaurant was good, but pricy. No restaurants next to hotels for food options. 15 Min walk or very short drive is the local village was is very tourist oriented and has lots of restaurants.

It's a new property. The breakfast was excellent. A little distance from old town, but Uber is easy and cheap. Very quiet area and walking distance to Ponta da Piedade cliffs

This hotel is at Portimao's Rocha beach and has splendid ocean view and beautiful rock formation along the beach. Its breakfast buffet was excellent and there are so many dining options close by, so we ended up not using its restaurants for lunch and dinner. Overall, a very pleasant stay and great value for the money.

Went in off season which was perfect 70 degree weather and super quiet. Unbelievable for the low price !!! Great for a family

This property is right on the 7 hanging trails hike. Not a bad walk to downtown Carvoeiro. The staff are very helpful in recommendations for restaurants and activities. Would highly recommend.

I had a great time. Highlights for me included: the view from the rooftop, friendly and accommodating staff, health workshops offered throughout the day, cozy rooms, and relaxing spa with familiar and new therapies. This place is perfect for a getaway to reflect, rejuvenate and relax. I would not come to this particular hotel if you are looking to party, dance, or drink a lot. It's a 5 star hotel and it shows. It is large, has plenty of amenities and resources for the guests. A few restaurants and a bar (admittedly we didn't get to try any). The breakfast was good. The pool was nice and comforting on the hot days we had. The hotel room was very spacious. And the bathroom was larger than I'm used to. We'd been in other hotels durong our Portugal trip that were quite small, so this was a welcome change. Overall we loved this hotel. I saw other reviews mention the hotel...

An unparalleled experience for a European getwaway. We stayed three nights and had a lovely time. On the last evening we dined at Vista and opted for the eight course meal which was superb. We will definitely be back.
