It’s a great motel for overnight or week long stays. The staff is courteous and does a great job of helping and cleaning. It was quite at night. My only problem is that while walking my dog in the grass areas the ground is very uneven and it would be very easy to turn an ankle.

This place was in terrible condition, we found a roach. The air conditioning didn’t really work, and the places was overall gross.

Clogged shower (called front desk and they couldn’t understand what I needed), HVAC unit was noisily clicking all night, the towels felt like sandpaper…I suppose I now know why this hotel was so much cheaper than surrounding stays!

Tired, Old Hotel. Good location. Not worth cost.

Rooms look nothing like the pics. This is a tired, old hotel that has been painted way too many times (and awful colors btw). We had 1) broken toilet (had to take cover off tank to flush), 2) hole in outer bathroom door (looks like an elbow), 3) cockroach or two, 4) our room door was left open / ajar for the day after housekeeping came through, 5) sticky door. Good things: Big mini fridge, friendly housekeeper, ideal location to go to Pinehurst 2 and local bars.

Decent stay for the price

Good breakfast; toilet was “running” and would not flush so I had to call maintenance. They fixed it but then it happened again the next day. The lampshades were disgusting, almost look like there were burn marks on the bottom. Friendly staff.

The first room I was signed had black mold in the bathroom. When I complained they moved me to another room but didn’t seem very concerned about the situation n the first room. Front desk clerk at check-in seemed bothered that she had to put her phone down to check me in. Staying here was a mistake.

The smell here is terrible. As soon as we walked through the door to the hall our room was in there was a strong smell of cigarettes/marijuana in a supposed nonsmoking area. We left our luggage in the car because we didn’t want it to pick up the smell. The smell deterred us from doing anything here. We are only spending one nights get here and it can’t go fast enough. We do not recommend this at lace at all. Very disappointed.

Not safe, not cleaned room

Property is old and not clean. Door lock appeared forced or broken, I did not felt secure at all. To much noise on hallways and management did nothing. Did not felt secure at all. Room smell humid, towels were old and smelly, carpet was sticky. There are other properties around in much better condition at same price range.

Electrical issues and Roach Infested

Check in: The gentleman was not friendly. Our room was roach infested. Called the front desk and he said he would get it taken care of. Noone showed. I went to the front desk on Sunday and another gentleman was sitting on the bench away from the front desk. I told him and he offered a room change. I said no because we left the next morning. I will not be staying there again. The cable line had short in it and the light switch for the bathroom had a bad connection. It was difficult to get the light to come on within wiggling the light switch. What a dump!!

The rooms smelled like cigarettes and pee. The sliding door never locked properly and the main hallway entrance was duct tapped open which was a security risk. I was constantly concerned about safety and if that hotel was bugged for cameras. My husband was forced into a different room bc the number of kids we have and overall the safety of this place was was really low. I do really appreciate the pool though, that was the only saving grace.
