"The location is fairly remote with beautiful views. The facilities are basic but the room has all you need including a small stove and kettle. If you have a car you can get to the old town and airport easily. The reason to stay here is the warm hospitality of the owner George, he is so helpful and friendly- even gave us a lift to the port to save us booking a taxi. Nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended."

"My husband called it “heaven”, like a honeymoon! Amazing pool, quiet, private, modern clean apartment with everything you need. The gardens and surroundings so well maintained, they were coming and cleaning the apartment and changing bedsheet everyday!!!!!!!
The highlight were the people(staff). Made us feel like family, always present, checking up on us. We even rented a car from them and visited many beaches and sightseeings.
We recommend it, we will be there again next year! It’s so worth...
"I recently stayed her for 2 nights. On arrival the host was very welcoming and provided us with lots of good information regarding the area such as places to visit, information on local transport and restaurant reccomendations. The room was lovely and spacious with a good aircon system. The room was lovely and clean and perfect for what we needed for a short stay.
The pool area was quiet with a few guests. The area is modern and well maintained with comfortable sunbeds and lovely clean pool....
"We had a fantastic stay at the Batelo. The room was very nice with a fantastic view. The service was very good and the staff was very helpful with recommendations and also with renting a car. A small “hidden” beach within walking distance and a bit further a little village with very nice restaurants for dinner.

"We booked a one bed apartment and it was great, it contained everything that we could have possibly needed. The apartment was quiet, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, on the edge of the old town, but also next to the main bus stops (to the airport, beaches etc).
