"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the lake house. The beds were very comfortable and every detail was thought out. Sheila is very quick to respond if we had a question or needed something. We hope we can stay again!"

"This was the perfect getaway! The views were stunning! The water glistening off the morning sun was absolutely beautiful, while I drank my morning tea. The trees surrounding the lake put off a mountain feel. The outdoor areas were extremely relaxing! It was just what I needed to refresh and reset before the beginning of the year. The cabin was adorable! FYI the closest grocery store is about 25 miles away. Tim (host) was so kind! I plan to return with my daughter in 2027. Thank you Grand Lake for blessings me with amazing sunsets too!"
Eagle Beach- Waterfront, Large Beach, Next to Shangri-La

"Located in a perfect location, the property has a beautiful lake view and is a very short drive from the Shangri-La golf course. Each morning we enjoyed walking the short distance to the Shangri-La resort to enjoy our coffee at the Monkey Grind coffee shop. Out the back door of the house is a large backyard with lush grass which leads directly to the rock beach, where our dog enjoyed playing in the water. There is also a paved walking trail that goes along the coast of the beach for a long distance and has some pretty water features; a great place to walk the dogs. The size of the home is large and spacious and the kitchen is nicely stocked with plenty of pots, pans and utensils for cooking meals for multiple people."

"In every place my family, friends, and I have ever stayed, we are out early on the last day. Except for this property. My god-grandson insisted we stay 3 more tomorrows. We all enjoyed the nice big yard, the fenced in dog area, and the gorgeous views of the water and wildlife, but no one more than him- and the swing had a lot to do with that. If you were in the area, you would have heard his laughter and excitement across the bay. My Merlin app was having a hard time keeping up with all the birds. I saw an Osprey catch a fish! Herons rested on the dock and in the yard! Every where we looked there was something fantastic to see. We'll bring the kayaks next time. The house easily accommodated our large group. It was amazing to have all all our kitchen needs met and to all be seated together at the same generous table. There were plenty of comfortable spots with plenty of privacy. The sprayer on the sink malfunctioned and the host replied within minutes. Do beware "dispatched" armadilloes are relocated to the beach for the vultures. It could be quite startling if you aren't expecting it, but also offers circle-of-life discussion opportunities and some interesting photos. 10 out of 10. Recommend!"

"Property is beautiful. View incredible! Fit our needs for an October weekend. No access to the water. Had difficulty locking up at check out. The guy wasn’t available when I called and not really helpful after I texted, kind of rude. Probably not my kind of hospitality."
