Very clean hotel, perfectly located and close to everything. The room was comfortable and pleasant. The balcony was a real bonus, especially for enjoying breakfast in a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

Room big and clean with small but functional kitchen. The cheaper rooms don't have double beds, just twin beds. We were on the 2nd floor on a Friday night and it wass incredibly noisy until 2 AM. Wifi didn't work at first but was cured when the receptionist re-started it.

The room was very clean and tidy, with an air condition that really helped sleep with comfort during our stay with 30 degrees C nights. The view from the balcony was outstanding over the lake Voulismeni and the location of the hotel is right at the heart of Agios Nikolaos with direct access to the pedestrianised street and amenities right at your doorstep. The staff was very friendly and made their best to help us with any questions. The discount bonus at the nearby excellent Cafe du Lac was also appreciated.

A fuir

Great location in Eastern Crete

Owing to the uncertain times of the pandemic, hotels generally had their own interpretation of the Covid rules. We stayed at 4 hotels on our visit to Crete and Du Lac had the worst interpretation of the rules - opting to avoid making our bed or to straighten out the room even when we asked for this. We noticed only the trash would be removed. Great location in the centre of town. Easy access to restaurants, the harbour, and long and short walks across town. The lake view is astounding and the restaurant in the Hotel was amazing with great cocktails and the most amazing service. Parking is a short walk away for €3 per day.
