"Nous n'avons pas tenté de monter notre véhicule devant le chalet à cause de la pente sableuse assez raide. Les peupliers de l'autre côté de la route offrent un bon ombrage.Le chalet est bien adapté pour 4 personnes. En jouant avec les volets et les fenêtres, on réussit à garder une température acceptable à l'intérieur par fortes chaleurs.L'accès à pied à la côte est proche et très agréable (9 mn)."

"I had a warm welcome and the gentleman at reception put my medication in a fridge for me. The lift was handy with bags, the corridors were very dark with light on timers. The double room was confortable big enough as I was by myself. I would have loved a complimentary bottle of water., because I’d walked from the station."

"Of our multiple trips to Normandy and other spots in France, the Mercure stands out as the very best experience we have had. The main reason? The SUPERB team taking care of guest relations. We had a number of special requests (holding luggage on both ends of the trip, borrowing extra towels, using plates/wine glasses, etc.) and they handled every single one gracefully. Beyond that, they were unfailingly friendly and kind. To be blunt, we are not accustomed to this kind of service in France — what we received was more in line with a 5-star American hotel. In our experience, this only happens when there is both excellent recruiting, a great training approach, and good treatment of staff members. Congrats on this great result — in short, what a team! We will be back — both to Granville and to the Mercure. In fact, during the years ahead, we hope both will become regular places to spend time several times per year. That is a reflection of how special the team made our visit, and we are extremely grateful for the care. À bientôt !"

"Die Lage der Wohnung ist das Pfund, mit dem sie am meisten wuchern kann. Direkt am Strand, die Füße im Wasser, wie die Franzosen sagen, auch wenn man im zweiten Stock des Hauses wohnt… der Ausblick ist gigantisch.Das große Doppelbett in einem der Schlafzimmer war sehr gut, das zweite Doppelbett im zweiten Schlafzimmer ist deutlich schmaler. Im dem Zimmer befindet sich auch ein Einzelbett, eine sechste Person müsste auf dem Sofa im Wohnzimmer schlafen. Wir waren aber zu zweit und hatten luxuriös viel Platz. Eine Kleinigkeit, die nicht stört, wenn man nur „auswärts“ essen will: Es gab weder für Pfannen noch Töpfe einen einzigen Deckel oder Spritzschutz. Sonst war alles ausreichend vorhanden. Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert, falls noch einmal Agon-Coutainille, dann sehr gern dort wieder!"
