What an amazing find! The rooms and the staff were amazing our only regret was that we were only staying for the one night. We are already planning an extended stay at the Willcox.
The Wilcox will certainly be our “go to” hotel when we visit Aiken, the staff is amazing and attentive … the hotel is beautiful and located perfectly in historic Aiken. 5 Stars!

Overall, the hotel was quaint. Service was very good and friendly. It is an older hotel with a lot of charm however, the rooms could use some updating. The outdoor furniture is nice. The pool needs resurfacing. The rooms were adequate, but the floors are slanted and room smells musty. The beds were very soft and not firm. The hotel is very walkable and close to downtown. Drinks at the bar were average. Coffee and breakfast included is a perk. There’s a way to keep the charm of this historic landmark without it seeming dated.
One of the best stays we've had in a while. The property is very unique, having a historic vibe. The lobby entrance had plenty of seating space, a piano and a quaint lobby bar. It is very quiet in the mornings, but livens up at night due to the bar and spacious places to meet with friends. The well appointed rooms are very comfortable. The Spa Service was excellent as well all service received at check-in, at the bar, and for all meals, which were amazing. And turn down service was a treat, especially with the yummy cookies and fresh water provided. We will definitely be back.
The staff was very friendly to us as guests and our pets. The breakfast was excellent and the location allows you to easily taken in the quaint town of Aiken.
An historic building in a quiet neighborhood. Well kept, solid and lovely. Staff were uniformly pleasant and helpful. Food was excellent. Room spacious and comfortable.
