"Great spot, plenty of restaurants close enough to walk to. Beautiful area next to the creek, have their own private deck where you can watch the seals and salmon in the creek."
"This is a very cozy cottage. It could use some serious updating...but outdated seems to the "vibe" in Ketchikan...so probably just fine to most. Everything was in working order and clean."
"Great 4 bdrm home on the water south of town. Spectacular views, lots of wildlife, we even saw a black bear. There is a creek that empties into the ocean and lots of jumpers can be seen trying to make their way up it. Residents in the cove do their daily fishing from the beach at low tide. Kids had a blast catching tiny crabs. Peggy, owner and host is wonderful. She came for dinner and snacks with us a couple of nights. Best vacation ever. "
Paradise Cove - A Mid-Century Modern Waterfront Retreat
10/10 Excellent
"The view is amazing! Saw a whale, seals, squirrels, and eagles off the deck, and two bears in the neighbor's driveway! LOVED IT! The decor is beautiful. The layout works. Two living rooms is nice for a big group. Outdoor seating is a must, used it every day. There was a broken toilet when we arrived, but they did their best to fix it as soon as possible and communication was great. I wish it had a keurig, but we survived, ha ha. Short walk to Rotary Beach which is wonderful to explore during low tide. The view of the ocean, trees, and mountains is stunning! Tight parking, but there are arrangements to park nearby if you have multiple cars. Screens on the windows would be nice so that we could open them without the resident squirrels trying to get inside :) You can't beat the views or the location! Perfect for a large group and multiple couples too. We loved it and are already talking about returning!"
"Great location-the wildlife was just amazing. You can see Herring Cove from the patio. We saw a mama deer and her fawn in the yard and watched the bears catch salmon in the cove. Would definitely stay again. Recommend!"
