The hotel is magical, part of a working vineyard. It has a Michelin restaurant. Reservations a must. The wine tours with the affiliated Barolo producers were excellent. One downside is its isolation. Difficult to reach especially at night. If you're driving it's not for the faint hearted. Sometimes the GPS would lose the signal but otherwise, a gorgeous place. The special 5 course dinner was spectacular in its volume, the many comped dishes, the creativity, etc

Hotel dans les vignes à 10 minutes d Alba. Les plus : hotel au calme, beau panorama, vieille batisse, bon petit déjeuner, accueil sympa et réception très serviable. Les moins : vieil hotel, chambres pas jolies (restées identiques aux années 60, sans exagerer), lit très petit (pour une chambre a 200 euro), on entend tout ce qui se passe chez les voisins.

Sehr schöne, ruhig gelegene Unterkunft mit toller Aussicht. Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unsere Zimmer waren gross (mit Sitzecke und Salontisch). Es ist ein älteres Haus, was man auch in den Zimmern etwas merkt. Für uns machte dies jedoch genau den Charm dieses Hotels aus. Es ist authentisch und passt genau so ins Piemont. Wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal in diesem Hotel.

Hotellet ligger meget langt væk fra indkøb og spisesteder, på toppen af bjerget - skøn udsigt😉. Både restaurant og bistro har lukket tirsdag og onsdag, det var ikke tydelig beskrevet. Værelser og seng er ukomfortable. Vi afbrød opholdet efter 2 dage, ingen refusion

Beautiful Location and Room!

Absolutely beautiful location right in the vineyards with incredible views in every direction. Quiet, clean and beautiful room and bath. We loved this place and would highly recommend it. We ate at the restaurant which was delicious, but pretty expensive. There's a local restaurant right down the street we would try next time.

Beautiful accommodations and friendly staff!

The people at Locanda Del Pilone are so friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and the surrounding area stunning. We will definitely make this a return destination on our next visit to Italy.
