"The property is quirky but well located and maintained, and the breakfast was delicious. However, the owner was surly, abrupt and grumpy. My visit appeared to be an inconvenience to him and he made no attempt to smile or provide assistance. While recognising that it is not his fault that I cannot speak Spanish, long diatribes in his local language when it was clear I could not understand a word he was saying was unhelpful. I felt like a naughty school child. I definitely would not return."

"This place is a gem. Tiny town in the middle of farm country. 200+ year old house beautifully maintained. Great dinner, good breakfast. When we mentioned we had medication that required refrigeration, they had a small refrigerator installed in our room within minutes. Vania, the owner is amazing. I enjoyed so much talking to her, I had a hard time leaving. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and an amazing stay."

"I booked what I thought was a family room- we got a room with two bunk beds so I ended up sleeping on one of the top bunks as my youngest child is too young for that. Not a real problem for one night but the smell of methane coming from the bathroom was a real hazard. Even with the bathroom door shut and an open window, the children woke up with feeling dizzy and we couldn't wait to get out. "I really enjoyed my stay and I was the only guest. It’s a great hostel and in a great location. The room was spacious with comfortable bed and a spacious attached bathroom. The WiFi doesn’t work well inside the room yet works great around the outside. I would definitely stay here again. "
